This page will soon house the class materials and links to projects for Summer 1999 Introduction to TNtmips GIS class

The goal of this free class is to provide a rapid introduction to the complex arts and sciences behind operating a GIS and developing a spatial analysis project.

In six, two-hour lectures the students are presented with the basics of spatial analysis using the free TNTlite version of TNTmips GIS. Outside of class the students examine examples of projects conducted using basic spatial analyses. from these examples they develop ideas for personal projects.

The second 'half' of the course is when the students execute their projects. Completed projected will be presented on the Internet with links found here.
